Dr. Mark Wössner
Dr. Mark Wössner has been active as an adviser to YOUNIQ AG since August 2009. He advises the company in its strategic and operative alignment and provides support in further networking the company within politics and commerce.
Dr. Mark Wössner was born in Berlin in 1938. After studying mechanical engineering at TU (Technical University) Karlsruhe he worked as a scientific assistant at TU Stuttgart, where he also graduated. He began his career in 1968 with Bertelsmann AG, where spent 32 years in various positions; since 1976 as a member of the executive board. From 1981, he was Deputy Chairman and, from 1983, Chairman of the executive board, until he reached the age limit in 1998.
He subsequently moved to the supervisory board of the Bertelsmann Foundation, remaining a member until end of 2000. Dr. Mark Wössner presently holds several supervisory board mandates, inter alia, with Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Chairman), Daimler, Douglas AG, Loewe AG, as well as eCircle AG. Furthermore, he is a member of numerous national and international advisory and supervisory committees and performs various voluntary duties in the social, cultural and academic domains.
