YOUNIQ AG (until mid-2009 "Alta Fides AG") is a quoted real estate owner, project developer and specialist in student and listed housing with its headquarters in Frankfurt. With units under management throughout Germany, the company is the German market leader in the Student Housing segment.

With the brand "YOUNIQ," the company has successfully established a comprehensive student housing concept on the market. YOUNIQ properties are concept properties that offer their student tenants high-quality furnished apartments, as well as a multifarious supplemental offering of leisure time activities, product discounts and living assistance via "YOUNIQ World." In this respect, the spectrum reaches from cheaper access to fitness studios, through to semester parties, right up to study and career advice. YOUNIQ AG has already successfully marketed these concept properties in Greifswald, Leipzig and Erlangen with a total of over 500 housing units. Properties in Munich and Karlsruhe are currently under construction and firm design works are being carried out for more.

YOUNIQ AG will invest over 200m Euro in student housing in 2009 and 2010; the annual investment volume in the following years is expected to increase substantially. A total of 1,500 to 2,500 housing units per year are scheduled for completion from 2010. YOUNIQ AG wishes to retain a portion of the properties in its own portfolio, with the remainder to be divested to institutional investors or capital contributors. The company assumes not only letting and classic administration, but also the configuration and implementation of YOUNIQ World, both for the properties and apartments in its own portfolio and for the properties and apartments divested to end investors or capital contributors.

GOETHE INVESTMENTS S.à r.l., Luxembourg, which, in turn, is part of the CORESTATE German Residential Limited group, St Peter Port, Guernsey, (highest holding), acquired a majority shareholding in ALTA FIDES AG on 25 July 2008.
